+The Slot Machine acts like an actual slot machine. [[Fox McCloud|Fox]] can activate the Slot Machine by shooting at its arm, causing its reels to spin. To defeat the Slot Machine, [[Fox McCloud|Fox]] must get three 7's in a row, causing it to self-destruct. If Fox gets at least one [[Andross]], missiles and lasers come out of the slot machine. Other combinations may give them coins to heal the [[Arwing]]'s damage or do nothing. Triangles below the reels, when flashing, can be shot at and "locked" into keeping whichever icon is on the reel for the next try. The destruction of the Slot Machine causes the distortion in the background to disappear.
