The G-Zero GP (also called Lylat GP) is a Grand Prix held somewhere in the Lylat System. It is a play on the F-Zero series.
Fox and Falco entered it after they retired as pilots. They crafted their Arwings into G-Zero Racers for the occasion.
This name is a reference to F-Zero, Captain Falcon's Racing game, changing F to G, the second letter to F
