Good job with the bot there. It's pretty cool. Is it going to have any more functions added? Level 3 00:52 9 Macrh 2010 (UTC)

Well, he's pretty much got everything we need. I've been trying to build some new ones, though. Not much luck, but it's fun. Oh, and please use TALK pages for this stuff :PNeo 00:59, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Well, for some reason I was under the impression that I was on your talk page lol. Level 3 01:08 9 Macrh 2010 (UTC)

Hello! I would like to thank you so much for promoting me to one of the sysops! It was a such a surprise, really! I never ever expected it! I shall be respectful of this title, and dutiful to it as I am aware of what to do since I've been working on wikis for a long time, don't you know? Hope(N Forever) 14:10, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Mm. I figured. Just be cool with it and whatnot. I'm not going to impose a ton of rules like "YOU MUST ASK ABOUT EDITING THE MEDIAWIKI NAMESPACE" or anything. If you have something you think will help, do it and I'll check it out later :P That's the beauty of wikis. Just don't break nothing XDNeo 15:06, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Umm... hi.

I'm basically here for assurance. I'm sure you guys will edit here under the same no copy policy you follow at WiKirby, but just to be safe; I advise you not to consider even using the same sources. I've recently detected conflict between Wikia and NIWA editors at other Wikis, and it happened due to a misunderstanding of the Wikia editor's context, in which the NIWA admins did something slanderous to the main page. I need to know, at this moment, whether or not this Wiki was made in spite of the situation, or whatever. That may sound paranoid, but I'm trying to stay on the safe side to avoid intra-wiki conflict. Thank you for your time. Blue Ninjakoopa 22:59, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

 1. Thank you for Joining our Wiki. I hope you will have a good time editing here, and hope the wiki can benefit from your experiences as a Admin, and as A Star Fox Fan.
 2. Thank you for Warning us of...whatever it is. Did this happen to Arwingpedia? i'd like more details on the event, whatever happened, in order to help put stuff in place to help deter it happening here.
 3. This Wiki was launched Feburary, so no it wasn't made in spite of anything. You don't need worry about that.
 4. Do you have any recommendations of what policies, templates, etc., We should put in? I am open to any ideas you have.
Thanks Again, [Tacopill|(talk)] 00:22, 8 April 2010 (UTC).
Not an admin or anything here, as a candidate wiki for NIWA status this wiki will certainly be held to a high standard in regards to plagiarism and handling such accusations. WiKirby maintains respect for the other wikis bc I want to- and it's important to me personally. Since I was one of the founding members of NIWA; almost anything I was working on would have been held to a stronger consideration than a typical startup. I'm unaware of the main page issue you mentioned. I haven't been online much the past few weeks. But tell me more and I'll look further into it. Axiomist 04:40, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Seems my buddies here have it right. We started to help the NIWA out, not to spite you guys. And I can personally assure you that I will have a strict policy on it.
As for the main page issues, those were blown out of proportion. What happened was that the administrators of Wikitroid became angry because the main page of Metroid Wiki featured links to pages around the wiki, essentially. This made no sense whatsoever, as Wikitroid has numerous page links on their main page. (Compare to this for reference.) I'm in charge of this wiki along with...well...WikiSysop :P and I fully and openly encourage you to come to me right away with any complaints of plagiarism, and I'll take immediate action. I don't want to be enemies at all like what happened with Metroid Wiki and Wikitroid. That was the result of a lack of communication and several problematic misrepresentations of the goals of Metroid Wiki on the Metroid Database Forums.
In addition, I visited Arwingpedia awhile ago, but I decided against making an announcement of the presence of Lylat Wiki because I didn't want to add more tensions to the mix. So just know that I will be checking our new pages with Arwingpedia for plagiarism, and that I EXPLICITLY forbid it. *points to site notice*
Thanks for taking the time to come and speak with me before making assumptions. I greatly appreciate that.Neo 19:50, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

Staff

I would be happy to be a moderator/patroller in addition to the usual contributions, since my ability to use wiki code/policy is hardly proficient as of yet. PureLocke(User/Talk) 15:29, 9 August 2010 (PDT)

Message received. I'll consider you for the job. In the meantime, keep contributing with us. I need to see how you perform at editing, of course, as patrol is a very important responsibility. If your contributions are good, I'll promote you. Thanks for showing interest!—Justin(Talk) 16:08, 9 August 2010 (PDT)

Morning, Justin. I'd like to say I'm interested as well. Taco said he's got my vote, but you have the final say. You weren't on skype today for me to ask you, so might as well ask you here. Zenox 22:20, 18 August 2010 (PDT)

I can verify this. [Tacopill|(talk)] 06:18, 19 August 2010 (PDT).
Well...I haven't seen much of your editing, to be honest. At Zelda Wiki, I've only patrolled a few of your edits. So I'm gonna say to ask me again in a month so I can have some time to make sure that:
 1. You're not just going to go inactive
 2. You've got what it takes
 3. Your edits are good
Sound good? Just do your best so I can see that you've got what it takes :)—Justin(Talk) 14:07, 19 August 2010 (PDT)

May I be a staff member? I know a lot about the Super Smash Bros. Brawl three Star Fox characters! And, no mean to sound conceited, but I'm a natural leader. Message me when you know, and thanks!Yoshitron 15:13, 4 October 2010 (PDT)

Not bothering at all! When crap like this happens, it's the job of people like me to fix it, so don't worry about it! Thanks for helping out, guys!—Justin(Talk) 10:55, 24 August 2010 (PDT)

interwiki problem

For some reason, whenever I click a bulbapedia link on this wiki, it takes me to a nonexistant website. I think this is because of the www. part at the beginning of the interwiki $1 link. A 06:56, 29 August 2010 (PDT)

I removed the www from the bp's entry on the iw table. Please test a link when you get a chance. [Tacopill|(talk)] 09:22, 29 August 2010 (PDT).

Star Fox 2

Neo, I'm gonna borrow your talkpage for a second. Does anyone on this site have a ROM of Star Fox 2? I wanted to work on the Miyu page, but I dont have anything about the game. If you have the ROM, speak up. Foxdude54 20:20 EST

I got it. How do you want me to send it to you?—Justin(Talk) 21:48, 13 October 2010 (PDT)
Well, considering I don't know what a ROM is, (Fail on my part,) would you be willing to edit the Miyu page? Foxdude54 16:53 EST
A ROM is a file that's a virtual copy of a game, and can be used by an emulator to run the game on something it wan't meant for. For example, Virtual Console is an emulator that can run NES, SNES and N64 games. [Tacopill|(talk)] 14:07, 14 October 2010 (PDT).
I don't have an emulator, which makes me sad because Star Fox 2 seems like a good game, why did it get canceled? Foxdude54 17:30 EST

Name

Neo, everytime you post on a talk page, everything after you turns red. Can you please fix this? Foxdude54 15:25 EST, 15 October 2010

It is his custom signature. It's red, because he wishes it that way. Look at code of User:Neo/sig for more details. [Tacopill|(talk)] 12:30, 15 October 2010 (PDT).
But, I mean EVERYTHING after him turns red, even what we are typing now. Foxdude54 15:33 EST, 15 October 2010
Really? I mean, the text for me appear black..... do you want to send me a screen shot of it? [Tacopill|(talk)] 12:37, 15 October 2010 (PDT).
Sure, but to me, everything is red. Foxdude54 15:38 EST, 15 October 2010
How do I take a screen shot? Foxdude54 15:58 EST, 15 October 2010
What Operating system are you using? [Tacopill|(talk)] 13:01, 15 October 2010 (PDT).
Windows? Foxdude54 16:03 EST, 15 October 2010
Ok, hold ctrl, alt or shift and press "prt sc", "print screen", or whatever it is called on your keybord. Then open paint, GIMP or something similar and press paste. Save it as a .jpg or .png file (whatever you want to called it) and email me the result. [Tacopill|(talk)] 13:11, 15 October 2010 (PDT).

Sent. Foxdude54 16:21 EST, 15 October 2010

I don't know what to tell you other than to attempt to refresh your browser. Following is my signature coding, copied verbatim from User:Neo/sig. You'll notice I close everything correctly, and that if I affected any text, it would be green.

<span style="color:red"><font face="lucidahandwriting">—Neo</font></span><span style="color:green"><font face="lucidahandwriting">(Talk)</font></span><noinclude>

So I really don't know why your computer makes that happen :P—Justin(Talk) 18:10, 15 October 2010 (PDT)

No worries, Tacopill fixed it. Foxdude54 12:05 EST, October 15 2010

Some light reading

Hello there Neo. I am DarkSamus89, an ex-admin of Arwingpedia. I'm quite sure you've heard of me from Blue Ninjakoopa, and not in a positive way. And he is exactly why I, and some other people are here. We, the people who have now had enough of him, are here to tell you the truth about him, and why he should discontinue as an admin & bureaucrat on this Wiki. I'll explain through these links below.

First, here is his basic problem solving method, also known as the all-that-matters-is-my-opinion -method:
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Falcory
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Blue_Ninjakoopa/Archive_2#Paths_of_Fate
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Blue_Ninjakoopa/Archive_2#Paths_of_Fate_aritlce_rights

Since he is unable to keep his rage inside, Falcory and those other people complained about him, and he was warned by Wikia staff itself:
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Blue_Ninjakoopa/Archive_2#Warning
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:CatherineMunro
To save you from the trouble of asking if he changed for the better after this, the answer is no.

BNK is able to build an argument from almost any subject, no matter how minor it is. Jimbo Jambo was also an admin on Arwingpedia, just like me, and he also left Arwingpedia because of BNK:
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Jimbo_Jambo#lol_you_lied
And if you check the red link in Jimbo Jambo's last post (and his final contribution before he left) you'll see the lack of control Jimbo Jambo is referring to:
http://starfox.wikia.com/index.php?title=User_talk:151.199.137.92&action=edit&redlink=1
And in case you're wondering, BNK deleted the page. But as you can still see, he also has a tendency to use stronger language when he decides discussing with people is no longer an option.

Here BNK first shows his attitude when people don't agree with him and then unleashes his fury on another anonymous contributor:
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Blue_Ninjakoopa#Shit
If two or more people are against him, he blames them for some kind of conspiracy against him. Then when he is told that is not the case, the flamewar starts and/or the banhammer sings.

And here's some extra proof that I am not the only Arwingpedia user thinking BNK isn't the right guy for the job of an admin:
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Wolf_O%27Donnell/Archive_4#Concerns_about_Blue_Ninjakoopa
Unfortunately, Canis Shepalute and Jimbo Jambo may not be active enough for me to get them tell their versions of the stories.

And a small extra. How he resorts to lies when he just doesn't care anymore:
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/File_talk:Star_Fox_Adventures_Warp_Stone.jpg

And these two are why I left:
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Falco_Lombardi#VOTE
Hindsight notes: What the heck did he get angry for there? I think because there was a possibility that things wouldn't have gone the way BNK would've preferred. He is actually the very first and so far only person I've ever fought with on the Internet. When he argues with you, he just skips all your valid arguments and concentrates on flaming you. If you don't agree with him, you're automatically wrong. He can't stand being disadvantaged. He also blocked a guy without any warning, which is actually against Wikia rules. He didn't make any kind of attempt to solve the problem between us, but escalated it instead. He is absolutely unable to take constructive criticism, and he replies with nothing more than flaming and conspiracy theories. He comes up with false accusations, and lies. Not even having the second most edits on the Wiki at the time saved me, which makes me ask, as it is one of admins' job to make decisions for the best of the Wiki, is banishing one of the Wiki's top contributors just that?
http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Blue_Ninjakoopa#Hold_up
Yes, I admit what I said there in the second last paragraph was wrong, but I was enraged. Enraged by his self-righteousness and his ego, which he seems to think the whole galaxy orbits. He didn't give a single thought to make decisions which would benefit the Wiki, he just wanted to get rid of the competition. Nobody on Arwingpedia dares to rival BNK, because this is what is what happens. That's what comes from soloing as an admin for too long. There should never be only one admin. You just have too much power and before you know it, it's in your head.

And no, Arwingpedia is far from the only Wiki he's done these kinds of things on. Here is the first example:
http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Jimbo_Jambo#For_future_reference..
And if I haven't convinced you yet, here's another one:
http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Blue_Ninjakoopa/Archive_13#
Or actually, ALL those 13 archived pages. There's a lot going on there. Well okay you can skip pages 2, 8, 9 and 10. As you see, he's been banned on several occasions.

I hope you'll have the time to read all that and see what I mean. I'd like to help you out with the Wiki, but as long as BNK is around flaming, trolling and what have you, I just can't.

And BNK, if you for some reason are reading this, don't try to approach me, I don't want to bother answering your flame posts. This isn't only for calling me Polish and for the $60 I used to buy the Star Fox guides, but also for ruining a perfectly good Wiki! DarkSamus89 13:49, 30 April 2011 (PDT)

In addendum to DarkSamus here, I would like to make not of BNK's record on other wikis too. Mr. Anon 16:54, 30 April 2011 (PDT)
Also, regarding the point DS raised here about BNK's record of taking small things into big arguments, here are some examples. Mr. Anon 17:02, 30 April 2011 (PDT)

Okay, I already don't like the fact that you came over here specifically to shoot down a staff member of the wiki. His past is his past, and if you feel you are being treated unfairly by him on Lylat Wiki, you can report it to me, but as long as he isn't abusing his power here, I am neither obligated nor inclined to take any actions against him.—Justin(Talk) 13:30, 1 May 2011 (PDT)

I see your point, and thus I have decided to help you out here and see whether I'm able to work with BNK with his now more limited power. Also, I heard you can transfer my edit count from Arwingpedia here? Would you mind doing that? DarkSamus89 07:20, 2 May 2011 (PDT)
That's what I like to hear. And of course I can. I just need to see how many edits you made on Arwingpedia. Now remember that I'm just restoring a count. The physical edits themselves could not be transferred because of Wikia's stupid policies.—Justin(Talk) 08:32, 2 May 2011 (PDT)
Okay, your edit count now reads 1287. I added your Arwingpedia edit count of 1284 to your three that you made on here. Glad to have another experienced helping hand here!—Justin(Talk) 08:39, 2 May 2011 (PDT)
All right, thanks a lot. I don't have as much spare time as I used to, but I'll try to be as useful as possible. DarkSamus89 11:45, 2 May 2011 (PDT)

I know you don't want to hear this, but I warn you, you shouldn't forgive people that easily. He was even warned by a staff member on wikia for his unfair behavior, and he didn't even acknowledge it. One false move by him could cause a big problem. The reason why Arwingpedia is nearly dead, is because he sent so many people away. That could happen here as well, so just be careful and watch him, because mark my words, one mistake could cuase a big problem. It would be history repeating itself, for this is just like how Holland M. Smith, a general in the U.S. Marines during WWII, fired another General, Army General in fact (The U.S. Army and Marines have been fueding for a while) by the name Smith as well, just because he was too nice, and all heck broke loose, for the Marines relations with the Army grew worse, as the Army kept threatning the Marines many times, especially Holland M. Smith. BNK is Holland Smith, and Darksamus89 is the other Smith. --AnyGuy 12:55, 2 May 2011 (PDT)

Your concern is noted. Like I said, you talk to me if there's a problem. And just so there is fair warning, anyone who creates an account with the sole purpose of seeking BNK's deranking, you will be blocked indefinitely. AnyGuy, I see you are contributing, so I will not block you. To my staff reading this, you are instructed to do the same. Let's end this petty feud and get on with wiki work.—Justin(Talk) 13:36, 2 May 2011 (PDT)

It was merely just a warning not to trust people that easily. I'm not trying to get him deranked, I'm simply telling you to be careful with how you let him use his powers, since it could become a catastrophe. --AnyGuy 14:26, 3 May 2011 (PDT)

A favor

I was wondering if you could transport my contributions from Arwingpedia, since I saw DarkSamus asking you, and I thought you could do the same for me. --AnyGuy 23:22, 6 May 2011 (PDT)

Yep. Link me to your Arwingpedia user page, please?—Justin(Talk) 12:37, 7 May 2011 (PDT)

Here you go! AnyGuy on Arwingpedia Thanks! --AnyGuy 17:16, 7 May 2011 (PDT)

Done. 290 is your new total.—Justin(Talk) 11:53, 8 May 2011 (PDT)

Thanks... Again! --AnyGuy 13:27, 9 May 2011 (PDT)

500

Hello, Neo. When editing pages and/or browsing the site, I frequently receive a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. Just thought I should post this. I apologize if it seems unnecessary. (Wolf O'Donnell 15:01, 4 September 2011 (PDT))

I've seen the occasional 500 as well, but I am not sure he is active anymore. [Tacopill|(talk)] 11:09, 5 September 2011 (PDT).
